Farming Practices
At Rosewater Farm & Floral, we believe in regenerative growing practices. In simple terms, our farming practices aim to rejuvenate the soil to sequester carbon all while utilizing livestock to naturally fertilize. Our farm directly reflects how passionate we are about the health of our community, and our environment. With full transparency in our practices, we believe that responsible management of farmland has the power to change the whole agricultural industry. We are always chemical free, pesticide free, and spray free. Using regenerative actions, trying to mimic the natural working ways of earth, we plan to make a difference in small-scale farming. Through methods such as cover cropping, use of beneficial insects, crop rotation, drip-irrigation, limited-till, intercropping, composting, mulching (and much more) we aim to demonstrate that there can be productive, financially feasible alternatives to the conventional model of food production that can also be ecologically beneficial. We are consistently learning and working to become more efficient, while benefiting our community with nourishing, chemical-free crops.
